THE GOSPEL. THE GREATEST NEWS OF ALL

Scripture tells us that through one man’s offence sin entered the world, and that sin produced death which has been passed on to ALL men. Romans 5:12. My dear friend you were basically born in sin and constituted with a sinful nature because of Adams one offence. The word Gospel in the original Greek simply means Good News, what is this good news you may ask? The answer is simple, even though Adams offense, sentence came on all men to condemnation, even so by the righteousness of One (Jesus Christ) the free gift came to all men to justification of life Romans 5:18. through the death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ ALL MEN shall obtain forgiveness and inherit eternal life, the apostle Paul declared : And through Him having made peace through the blood of His cross, it pleased the Father to reconcile all things to Himself through Him, whether the things on earth or the things in Heaven Colossians 1:20 In Paul’s letter to the Philippians, he wrote: Therefore God has highly exalted Him, and has given Him a name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of heavenly ones, and of earthly ones, and of one’s under the earth. Philippians 2:9,10..205290_10200251972755511_1098897693_n

There are many more scriptures that declare the redemption, salvation and reconciliation of ALL mankind, we therefore use the term All-Inclusive Gospel, because the victory Christ obtained on the cross has secured redemption for the entire human race. If you still have doubts, remember that the most important title the Lord Jesus has in the bible; scripture states that He is the Saviour of the World, when John saw Jesus coming, he cried Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world John 1:29, the inhabitants of Sychar came forth from the city and declared for we have heard Him ourselves and know that this is truly the Christ, the Saviour of the world John 4:42 And in his first epistle John writes: And we have seen and testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world 1 John 4:14 and less not forget Paul’s words to the Corinthians when he wrote: that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:19; we can therefore conclude that if Christ doesn’t save the whole world, then He’s failed in His office, His mandate and His commission and has no right to be called saviour of the World. If billions of people are being burnt in hell for all eternity, then something of that evil remains, and Christ cannot claim the complete victory.

If Christ doesn’t save all those He came to save, then it just makes them saveable and He’s not really the Saviour of the world; but Gods word doesn’t lie, as Paul writes:  therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of ALL men, especially of those that believe 1 Timothy 4:10 and He is the atonement concerning our sins, and not concerning ours only, but also the whole world 1: John 2:2

When the Lord Jesus walked upon this earth He raised the dead, healed every disease, cleansed the lepers and performed numerous signs and wonders, this continued in the early Church where many miracles, signs, and healings took place, if we study the history of the early Church we read the dead were raised, the lame walked and the blind received their sight, regularly and continually on a daily basis; yet we don’t see this happen in the modern Church, we  pray fervently for the sick but they seldom  get healed, why is this so?  When we limit Christ’s completed work on the cross we limit the power of His Spirit in and upon people’s lives, when we preach limited atonement and partial redemption, then we restrict the healing power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ the son of the living God, stepped out of eternity into time and took the sins of humanity upon Himself, this is what Phillip the evangelist declared to the Ethiopian mentioned in the book of Acts chapter 8. The Ethiopian read from the book of Isaiah: we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, each one to his own way; and Jehovah has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and He was afflicted; yet He opened not His mouth. He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a sheep before its shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth.   He was taken from prison and from judgment; and who shall declare His generation? For He was cut off out of the land of the living; for the transgression of my people He was stricken. Isaiah chapter 53.

My dear friend, can you see that Christ has paid the price for ALL sin? Nowhere in the New Testament does it state people will be judged for their sins; how can one be judged if that sin has already been dealt with on the cross at Calvary? As Paul writes to the Church in Rome : For God has bound all men over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all. Romans 11:32 And the author to the Hebrews states But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. Hebrews 11:32

The word HELL should not be in our English bibles, basically it is a deliberate, erroneous miss-translation, purposely put there by Catholicism to inject fear into people’s hearts. The word Hell is from old English and means unseen place, in the old English dialect the expressionhelling potatoes” simply meant to place the potatoes in the ground or in a cellar

The word Hell has been translated 54 times in the King James Bible, in Hebrew the word should be properly translated as SHEOL and in the Greek HADES, TARTARUS and GEHENNA. The Hebrew word SHEOL and the Greek word HADES have the exact same meanings and should be correctly translated as GRAVE; never does it denote a place of punishment; it simply means a place where the SOUL of the deceased goes when the body dies, whether that soul being GOOD or BAD makes no difference.

TARTARUS is only used once in the New Testament, in 2: Peter 2:4, where it speaks of the angels who rebelled and that God has cast them into gloomy caverns of Tartarus, where they are kept waiting for chastening judgement.

GEHENNA, is derived from the name of the narrow, rocky valley of Hinnom just south of Jerusalem, which was basically the city’s dump, where the bodies of criminals, the poor who had no money left for burial, along with dead animals and the trash of the city was burned; a place where the half burnt bodies of corpses would be continually consumed my worms and maggots as the bodies were piled up day and night. Never did the Lord Jesus state Gehenna was a place of everlasting punishment, but spoke about the seriousness of sin when He said “if your hand offends you, cut it off, It is better for you to enter into life maimed than to have two hands to go into Gehenna, into the fire that never shall be quenched where their worm dies not, and the fire is not quenched Mark 9:43, 44. Compare the body thrown in Gehenna Luke 12:5.

JUDGEMENTS
The word “judgement” has always been interpreted in a negative sense, primarily at the judgement it’s either heaven or hell, depicting an up or down scenario.

Scriptures clearly speak of an age of correction. the word eternal in Greek is “aion” and is related to a particular age within the scope of Gods plan of reconciliation, the word for punishment in the original Greek is “Kolasin” and denotes discipline and chastisement, therefore Mathew 25:46 indicates, some will go into age abiding correction.

Nowhere is eternal punishment mentioned in the original scriptures.

One of the definitions of the word judgement is, for one to give their opinion or decision concerning anything or a situation. When a person visits a doctor, he listens to their symptoms, examines and upon his diagnoses he makes his judgement on what the correct treatment should be. Scriptures portray the Lord as the great Physician, ALL His judgments are corrective and remedial in their purpose and application and not condemning as some would have us believe.

Psalm 9:8 He shall judge the world in righteousness; He shall judge the peoples in uprightness.

Psalm 98:9 before Jehovah; for He comes to judge the earth; with righteousness He shall judge the world and the peoples in uprightness.

Acts 17:31 Because He hath appointed a day, in which he will judge all the earth, with righteousness, by the man whom he hath designated: and He turneth every man to faith in Him, in that he raised Him from the dead.allmeansall 2

The salvation and reconciliation of all mankind was the predominant belief of the early Church and a Divine reality that Christ was manifested to destroy the works of the enemy, 1 John 3:8. The Lords death and resurrection conquered every negative thing in the universe namely sin, sickness and death, therefore completely eradicating the disease of cosmic evil. Christ being the resurrection and the life, and by whom the worlds were framed, and thus being the creator, maintainer and sustainer of the whole universe , will reconcile and restore all things to the Father at their appropriate time and each one in their own order 1 Corinthians 15:21-28.

God is Love 1 John 4:8  Divine love is very different from human love. God’s love is unconditional and is not based on our feelings or emotions. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’ve come from or what you’ve done;  the message of the cross is Jesus loves you and died for you, along with every man, woman and child who ever lived or indeed ever will live. Through the precious blood of Christ God saves all and reconciles all  1 John 2:2.

All the Lord would ask of you is to turn away from your former way of life and believe with all your heart, that on the cross Jesus took care of all sin for all humanity for all time.  I encourage you to embrace this wonderful truth today; that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Saviour of the world and the redeemer of all mankind, believe in Him, be His disciple and by the power of the Holy Spirit spread the good news of the glorious Gospel.
